We are delighted to welcome Häfele and Martek as corporate members.

Häfele is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of furniture fittings and architectural hardware, with subsidiaries in 150 countries. Häfele UK operates from Rugby, Warwickshire and employs over 420 people.

Martek designs, manufactures and installs specialist bespoke joinery. Founded in 1982 and based in Croydon, London, the company’s chief markets include specialist architectural joinery, healthcare and education, international multiplex cinema industry, commercial catering and high end residential and hotel.

Corporate membership provides opportunities for companies involved in the furnishing sector to directly participate in the industry’s only charitable organisation.

Membership contributions are critical to the Company’s ability to deliver much needed support for welfare, education and excellence. As corporate members, each company has the opportunity to nominate up to three senior executives to become corporate liverymen.

Dr Tony Smart MBE, Master of The Furniture Makers’ Company, said: “We are delighted to welcome Häfele and Martek as corporate members. Our corporate members are of the greatest importance to us – and to the future of furnishing. All members, individual or corporate, are invited to participate in the many events in the city livery calendar, which are great for networking, entertaining, as well as having fun.”
