An Audience with Tracy Borman, OBE – Chief Historian at the Historic Royal Palaces, author and broadcaster
We are delighted to invite you to ‘An Audience with Tracy Borman OBE, Chief Historian at the Historic Royal Palaces, author and broadcaster’ to uncover the secrets of Thomas Cromwell and the Boleyn family.
Tracy’s biography of Cromwell was a Sunday Times bestseller. It brings to life the real man behind the Wolf Hall portrayal and charts his dramatic rise and fall in the court of Henry VIII. In her new novel ‘The House of Boleyn’, Tracy immerses us in the world of the Boleyns’ beautiful Kent home, Hever Castle. It was here that they plotted and schemed, grieved and rejoiced – and where Henry VIII relentlessly pursued Anne Boleyn. In this richly illustrated talk, Tracy uncovers the real history that inspired both books and takes the audience behind closed doors to explore Cromwell and the Boleyns, who started out as allies but ended as deadly rivals.
It gives us great pleasure to welcome Tracy to our Hall – where better to hear their story.
The talk will be from 5.30-6.30pm followed by drinks and canapes, plus an opportunity to buy one of Tracy’s books, signed by the author.
