Two new liverymen and three corporate liverymen admitted
We are delighted to welcome two new liverymen and three corporate liverymen at the Court Meeting held on 9 December 2025.
Each brings a wealth of experience, creativity and leadership to the industry, strengthening the Company’s commitment to supporting excellence across the furniture and furnishings sector.
New liverymen admitted
Rachel Ellison-Galbraith, creative director, Rachel Galbraith Creative
Rachel Ellison-Galbraith joins the Livery with an extensive background in creative and design direction for the furniture industry. As a long-standing freelance designer, she has collaborated with some of the sector’s most respected names, including Baker Furniture, ercol, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Frank Hudson and B&Q. Her work continues to influence contemporary furniture aesthetics and brand identity across the UK.
Gary Sprawling, managing director, ALS Labs Ltd
Over 20 years ago, Gary founded ALS Labs Ltd, a specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of laboratory furniture for industry, education, pharmaceuticals and the Ministry of Defence. His leadership has established the company as a trusted provider of technical furniture solutions. Gary has recently taken on the chairmanship of the East of England region and has been invited to support the liaison with the newly formed Sea Cadets unit.

Corporate liverymen admitted
Tom Prestwich, CEO, The Belfield Group
Tom Prestwich joined Belfield Group in March 2023, initially serving as Chief Operating Officer before becoming Group Managing Director and, most recently, CEO. His career spans a range of senior board positions within the manufacturing sector, bringing strategic insight and operational expertise to one of the UK’s leading upholstery and furniture groups.
Chris Fletcher, commercial director, Tetrad
With over three decades at Tetrad, Chris Fletcher’s career reflects deep-rooted expertise across multiple areas of the business. He has held significant roles in Design & Development, including over a decade as D&D Director (2011–2022), before transitioning to Sales Director in 2022. In February 2025, he was appointed Commercial Director, now overseeing Design & Development, Sales and Marketing to drive innovation, performance and brand strength across the group.
Suzanne Berry, commercial director, Westbridge Furniture
Suzanne Berry leads the commercial, design and product development functions at Westbridge. She originally joined as Group Sales Director, taking responsibility for key retailers and independents. She successfully navigated the business through the challenges following M&S’s bulky furniture exit and a change in ownership. Suzanne previously oversaw Export and Contract markets at Tetrad, drawing on extensive Far East experience. Her career began over 25 years ago supplying major high-street names – including M&S, JLP, Primark, Sainsbury’s and Avon – building a formidable foundation in commercial strategy.
Nicole Lindsay, marketing manager, KI
As marketing manager for KI Europe, Nicole Lindsay leads product launches, brand storytelling, industry event engagement and the development of KI’s new Clerkenwell showroom. Before joining KI, she headed marketing for the Surface Design Show, one of London’s leading exhibitions for innovative surface materials. Her earlier roles include public relations at Informare Communications – representing leading furniture makers, interior designers and architects – and marketing positions at Ogilvy, where she contributed to campaigns for major global brands such as The Coca-Cola Company and L’Oréal.
