Southern Bowling Night rolls on in High Wycombe

The pins were flying and the competition was fierce as the latest Southern Bowling Night lit up the Hollywood Bowl in High Wycombe on 22 May. Organised by The Furniture Makers’ Company’s Southern Region, the evening brought together six teams from across the local industry for a night of fun and friendly rivalry.

Returning to the alleys were two teams from Hypnos, joined by groups from Ercol, Celtheath, Wilkins Agencies, and William Hands.

Taking home the top honours was the team from Ercol. Individual accolades went to Harry Aldridge, whose consistent strikes and spare pick-ups earned him the title of Best Player of the night.

Lizzie Shaw, regional chairman, said: “It’s always fantastic to see such enthusiastic participation. This event continues to grow in popularity, and it’s wonderful to bring people together for a great cause and a great time.”
