Simpson and Liddard awarded Manufacturing Guild Mark

Steve Bulmer, Manufacturing Guild Mark chairman, said: “I would like to congratulate Simpson and Liddard on their award of the Manufacturing Guild Mark, which really is testament to their credentials as an outstanding British furniture business.

“Danny and his team impressed us, among other things, with their commitment to continually improving their designs, using feedback from clients and colleagues. They are also dedicated to minimising waste, with all projects planned carefully to ensure the best use of raw materials.”

The Manufacturing Guild Mark is only open to businesses that manufacture most of their products in the UK. Companies undergo an independent audit every three years by the Furniture Industry Research Association on behalf of the Furniture Makers’ Company to ensure their standards of operation remain high.
