Barons appoints business consultant and project partner
Corporate supporter Barons is delighted to announce the appointment of Sara Jane Farrow as Business Consultant and Project Partner, joining the team with immediate effect.
Sara Jane brings over two decades of experience in the healthcare furniture industry, during which she has witnessed significant transformation across the sector. Her career includes several key roles, most recently at Teal Living, a division of the Senator Group, where she was responsible for developing a tailored strategy for the residential care sector. Drawing on the Senator Group’s 40-year legacy of manufacturing for the NHS and mental health sectors, she helped shape a focused approach to design and production for care environments, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality were prioritised.

Prior to this, Sara Jane spent 12 years at Shackletons, where she played a central role in developing new business with larger care groups and corporate clients with a focus on turnkey, new builds, and large-scale refurbishments. Working closely with these customers led to her playing a pivotal role in the development of new products and ranges for the bespoke needs of the company’s clients.
In her new role at Barons, Sara Jane will work closely with the leadership team to support strategic growth, strengthen client relationships, and build upon Barons’ reputation for delivering high-quality furniture solutions to the contract and healthcare markets.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sara Jane to the Barons team,” said Garry Smith, managing director at Barons. “Her industry knowledge, proven commercial experience, and passion for responsive design make her a fantastic asset as we continue to expand.” Sara Jane added “I’ve long admired Barons for its commitment to quality, design, and customer service. I’m excited to be joining at such a dynamic time and look forward to working with the team to support the company’s continued success.”
