A very distinctive rocking chair designed by Dave Green, and handmade in Sitting Firm’s workshops. The chair has a solid Elm seat, legs and characteristic steam-bent back in Walnut, and its sleds and steam-bent back splat in Oak.
About
Sitting Firm was set up by master-craftsman Dave Green in 1989, and soon gained an enviable international reputation for producing fine quality traditional Windsor chairs. They have led the way in the current renewal of interest in this traditional British craft; at the same time moving it forward for the 21st century.
