Description

ReSKU 2.0 is a reimagining of Camira’s iconic recycled wool fabric, first launched in 1998 and originally made from old army jumpers. Relaunched in 2024 to celebrate Camira’s 50th anniversary, ReSKU 2.0 is the latest innovation from their textile reprocessing arm, iinouiio. It is the only fabric on the market made from a unique blend of recycled wool—sourced from Camira’s own manufacturing waste—and harvested flax, creating a fully circular textile. Naturally chemical-free, the fabric offers inherent Crib 5 flame retardancy due to the charring properties of wool and flax. With a homespun aesthetic and hopsack weave, the fibres are colour-sorted, shredded, and blended to produce 24 charming colourways. Made in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, ReSKU 2.0 gives new life to wool for use across hospitality, commercial, and residential interiors.
