Sustainability leaders from across the workplace design sector are set to gather in London later this month for the annual Sustainable Design Forum, a key event aimed at driving collaboration and innovation in environmentally responsible design.

The forum is organised by Joanna Knight, second assistant and chairman of the Climate Change and Sustainability Committee, who also serves as co-founder of the Sustainable Design Collective – a voluntary think tank comprising architects, designers and specifiers focused on advancing sustainability in workplace environments.

Held each year, the forum provides a platform for meaningful, discussion-led engagement across the industry. It is supported by a wide network of furniture manufacturers and suppliers, reflecting growing interest in sustainable practices throughout the design supply chain.

This year’s programme will open with a keynote address from Dr Valerie Vaughan-Dick MBE, chief executive officer of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The event will also feature a mix of presentations, panel discussions and interactive workshops designed to encourage practical solutions and knowledge sharing.

The Sustainable Design Forum will take place on Thursday 23 April at Crypt on the Green in Clerkenwell, running from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The day will conclude with networking drinks, offering attendees further opportunities to connect and collaborate.

Tickets are limited and available in advance.
