Teesside Golf Day 2026

We are pleased to invite you and your colleagues to join us in taking part in a day of fine golfing at Catterick Golf Club in August where we hope to raise much needed funds for the welfare arm of the furnishing industry’s charity.

Once again, Barker and Stonehouse have organised the Teesside Charity Golf Tournament for The Furniture Makers’ Company.

Catterick Golf Club provides excellent facilities as well as an outstanding 18-hole course with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

The event, with a ‘shot gun start’ from 1pm on Wednesday 12th August, is an 18-hole stableford/full handicap tournament, and ten silver trophies and other prizes will be awarded to both the trade and visitor.

All competitors are requested to go out in fours, but please come along if you are on your own (or two golfers etc.) and we will nominate a group for you to go around the course with. Both gross and stableford scores will be counted. All competitors without an official handicap will be required to play off 28. Ladies, without an official handicap, will play off 36.

Soup and sandwiches will be served before the golf begins from 11:45am, and a presentation will be held in the evening, accompanied by a three-course dinner as well as our very popular charity auction and raffle. Please be aware that we are required to wear jackets and ties in the clubhouse. I would also be grateful if team leaders could let us know if there are any special dietary requirements well in advance of the day.

Much of the success of this event depends on generous support for the raffle, auction and hole sponsorship and I am also appealing to firms and individuals to help us with hole and competition sponsorship, or prizes for the raffle and auction.

We are looking forward to a lively competition on this fantastic course, with the added bonus of raising funds for an extremely worthy cause, and we would be delighted if you could join us.

The entry fee per person is £80.00, including green fees, lunch from 11:45am, evening meal, V.A.T. and gratuities. Please complete the entry form enclosed and return it with your remittance made payable to the Furnishing Industry Trust as soon as possible so that catering arrangements can be made.
