The Sky Wardrobe and walk in Dressing Room is the culmination of hundreds of hours of precise design and craftsmanship, creating a seamless fusion of functionality, comfort, and immersive artistry. It transforms the Principal Suite into a serene sanctuary, enveloping the space with soft, continuous joinery that integrates a dressing table, fitted bench, and headboard into a single harmonious composition.
Designed by Taylor Howes and crafted by Lanserring the wardrobes are made from solid and veneered oak and ash, stained and oiled with 0% VOC natural pigments; the materials combine resilience with understated elegance.
Richly finished oak surfaces meet electrically patinated, dry-mitre brass frames, highlighting bespoke fabric-laminated glass and hand-finished joinery. Drawers of solid oak are finger-jointed and lined with hand-wrapped Novasuede dividers, offering a refined tactile experience, while the triptych mirror is engineered with exacting tolerances, featuring handmade analogue door restrictors and glazed door hinges patinated to match the brass frames.
The wardrobes, alongside the dressing table, bench and headboard, are carefully conceived to maximize storage without dominating the room. Every detail is considered: concealed wall anchors, integrated double sockets in drawers, shelving niches, and bifold wardrobe doors all enhance both utility and aesthetic balance.
A custom sky mural wallpaper flows seamlessly across walls and cabinetry, demanding meticulous pattern alignment to create a sense of infinite calm. The result is a bedroom that is simultaneously highly functional and a space where design, craftsmanship, and atmosphere are all effortlessly combined.
